This is a basic template describing how BleepGuard may process data. It should be reviewed and adapted by a qualified lawyer before being treated as final.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The controller of your data in relation to the BleepGuard software and website is VitaTide Ltd. If you have any questions, you can contact us at: support@bleepguard.com.

2. What data does BleepGuard process?

Depending on how you use BleepGuard, we may process:

• Basic licence information (licence key, plan type, start/end date).
• Technical data sent by the app to the licence server (for example device ID, IP address, timestamps of activation and checks).
• Billing-related data handled by Stripe when you buy a paid plan.

Audio and video files you process with BleepGuard 2.0 are handled locally on your Windows machine. They are not uploaded to our licence server as part of normal use.

3. How do we use this data?

We use licence and technical data to:

• Validate that a licence is active and within its limits (plan, devices, time).
• Prevent abuse, such as sharing a licence far beyond the intended number of devices.
• Maintain and improve the reliability and security of the licence system.

4. Payments and Stripe

Payments for Basic, Pro and Studio plans are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our own servers. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for most payment-related information and handles it according to their own privacy policy.

5. How long is data kept?

Licence and technical data may be stored for as long as your account or licence is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for security, accounting and legal reasons, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain types of processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@bleepguard.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
